A little history
Greeks and Romans brought this fruit in Spain, eating oil and sweetened with honey. The Romans also used to produce a residue liquor, red wine and quince. It is prepared simply by boiling quince pulp with equal quantity of sugar, creating a block sweet as can be cut to accompany or complete different things.
You can eat different sweets like cookies, cakes as ingredients to some, or even marriage accompanied by a plate of cheese. In the kitchen Argentina and Uruguay, it is associated with invoices or biscuits, as it is common that many they are filled or covered by this sweet. In Chile, is a commonly eaten fresh, used as aggregate in bread baking in different recipes or simply eaten naturally.
